For our client, a manufacturing company in the research industry, we are looking for candidates for the position of Site IT Business Analyst Manager.
The IT Business Analyst manager is the bridge between Business Operations and IT. They are directly involved in strategic system migrations and upgrades as well as new customer implementations, projects and enhancements.
They mentor the local Business Analysts and will manage projects as required. They will have direct
external customer contact and represent company IT to customers.

Zakres obowiązków
- Managing work schedules across competing priorities and projects;
- Use of Jira to ensure team tasks are current and up to date and capacity is matched to demand;
- Interaction with site management team to ensure their demands are met;
- Excellent knowledge of how the various IT systems operate and interact with each other;
- Excellent knowledge of the standard implementations of IT systems and knowing their capabilities and limitations;
- Where necessary (if standard solutions are not appropriate or existing) creating and documenting functional requirements for new development;
- Working with external customers to understand requirements, presenting company IT capabilities, demonstrating our systems and quoting the IT effort needed to create the required solution;
- Presenting project status and timelines;
- Collecting and documenting Business requirements by use of interviews, workshops, site visits, task, and workflow analysis;
- Modelling business requirements and translating to application and operational requirements based on the standard suite of applications;
- Being hands-on with the IT applications, able to perform top-level set-up and configuration tasks as required and using SQL and other tools to extract information from the systems;
- Recognised as centre of competence/functional lead promoting best practice and training other IT staff in this area;
- Providing 1st level support for questions and issues and passing to 2nd/3rd level where appropriate;
- May be responsible for scheduling, reporting, and managing the workload of other IT staff either on a project or day-to-day level.
Poszukiwane kompetencje
- At least 1 year in a similar role;
- Higher education in the areas of IT, Telecommunications, etc.;
- SQL for writing queries to extract ad-hoc information from databases;
- Experience of problem solving;
- Working in a manufacturing, logistics or service industry;
- Comprehensive in-depth knowledge of a messaging platform such as Microsoft BizTalk or LogicApps;
- Knowledge of supply chain and manufacturing principles;
- Experience of creating specifications for messaging integration projects;
- Experience of implementing new systems including migration/upgrade from legacy applications;
- Leadership;
- A proactive attitude;
- Communicates and influences effectively;
